Get Involved Locally
You do not need to be a Reform UK member, activist or experienced campaigner to get involved locally.
Many people are busy, uncertain about politics or have not yet had the opportunity to discuss local issues with people who share their concerns. Simply making contact can be a useful first step.
You might want to meet like minded people informally, attend an event, exchange ideas, receive local news or consider helping in the future.
As explained on the About page, just keeping in touch helps us.
Register as a local Branch Contact
If you would like to hear from the Reform UK Bracknell Branch or chat to people who are involved, please register using the form below. This does not make you a Reform UK party member or supporter; it simply allows the local Branch to be in touch with you, subject to your consent.

Registering does not make you a Reform UK Member.

This notice explains how Reform UK Bracknell (We, Us) processes personal information about people who register as Branch Contacts.

It is supplementary to the national Reform UK Privacy Policy and to the Privacy Notice for this website
Reform UK Bracknell (We, Us) is a local Branch of Reform UK and is Data Controller for Branch Contacts.
These are distinct from contact details registered nationally by Reform UK referring to Party Members and other persons. Notwithstanding, the same person may be registered in both contexts.
What personal data we collect
We may collect the following information when you interact with us:

We do not collect unnecessary data, and we do not profile individuals
How we use your data
We use Branch Contact information to:

send monthly email newsletters (content subject to consent)
- improve contact with Branch Members and establish contact with non-members
- provide login to restricted pages on our website
- enable Officers or specifically authorised volunteers to contact you

thereby to share news of our activities
We will not use Branch Contact information to send general marketing or third‑party promotional material.
How we contact you
Email is our default method because it is auditable and secure.
If you have provided a phone number we may make a voice call or send an (SMS) text message
We may use messaging apps subject to specific consent.
Lawful basis for processing

Personal data (name, email, phone, etc.): processed under Article 6(1)(e) UK GDPR — performance of a task carried out in the public interest / democratic engagement.

Political opinions or information revealing political views (special‑category data): processed under Article 9(2)(g) UK GDPR together with the relevant condition in Schedule 1, Part 2 of the Data Protection Act 2018. An Appropriate Policy Document (APD) is in place for this processing.

Consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a))
We send political updates and other electronic communications only when you have given us your explicit consent.
Under PECR, electronic political marketing requires prior consent. Under UK GDPR, our lawful basis for processing your data for this purpose is consent.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Access and who can see your data
Access is limited to Branch Officers and specifically authorised branch volunteers who help coordinate activities. We do not share Branch Contact information outside the Party unless required by law.
Retention period
Branch Contact details are retained only as long as needed for branch activities - typically retained for up to 3 years after last contact, then deleted or anonymised unless you ask us to retain them longer. Retention periods are reviewed periodically.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, restrict processing of, or delete your information at any time, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Get Involved Socially
We have our own virtual club called 'The Reformist'.
It is for a closed group of members, but allows you to get together to chat with other like-minded people. They are supporters of Reform UK Bracknell but need not be active workers. There are tables you can join a table to chat about various broad topics of interest.
There is a more serious side, essentially back rooms, which are reserved for Ward Teams and other groups to coordinate activities and share ideas.
