Chairman's Summer Garden Party
Again this year, Madie and Malcolm hosted a brilliant garden party for members and guests of Reform UK Bracknell.
Another great day to remember. It was what we used to call an unusually warm day, but there was plenty of shade and space for everyone -
except Matt who was chef de barbecue this year.
Despite the heat, the karaoke tent was a hub of fun and energy for most of the day. Apart from one poignant minute when Malcolm called us to silence in fond memory of Ann Widdecombe.
And.the time it took to draw tickets for a record number of donated raffle prizes, and to auction off some more valuable items.
But there was also a whole lot of serious sitting around, getting to know each other, and enjoying each other's company going on.too.
We also raised much
needed funds for the
2027 campaign.
Well done everyonr

It was amazing to have the opportunity to chat with our residents. We thank everyone that visited our stand. We appreciate your time, enthusiasm and engagement. A special thank you to those that choose to sign up for membership.
We had two "Guess the number of Sweets in Jar" winners.
And had great fun creating 80 Carnival princesses and pirates.
See Campaign News for more about this public event.
A huge shout out to the Crowthorne Carnival Team
for all their hard work and stellar organisation.
Fantastic Day at the Crowthorne Carnival

SPRING CLAY PIGEON SHOOT
A sunny May Afternoon saw Reform UK Bracknell members gather to take part in the annual Clay Pigeon Fundraising Shoot at Gibraltar Barracks.
Fuelled by refreshments and a sizeable bacon roll, four aptly named teams headed out to the shooting stands for a 2 hour shooting bonanza.
Each team had a safety officer and coach in attendance. Teams were:
-
Ballseye
-
Potshots
-
Make Britain Great Again
-
The Reform Rebels
A lively bunch, a great mixture of ages and skills. Ladies trying the sport for the first time, enthusiastic young lads and experienced dead eyes.
A great time was had by all.
The individual winner - Charles kindly donated his prize.
Thank you to everyone for supporting the fundraiser.

Saturday Quiz Night
We held a quiz night at the Martins Heron Community Centre.
This was another enjoyable occasion, organised by our brilliant events team.
The winners were 'The Stevie Wonders'. Well done to them.
Quiz-master Owen promises to set some slightly easier questions for next time.

Curry Night

We enjoyed a curry night at the Kohinoor Curry House, Priestwood, attended by 30 people.
Many thanks to our events team of Stevie, Karen and Denise for organising such an enjoyable fund raising event which raised over £600 for local branch funds!

Summer BBQ
We enjoyed a summer BBQ hosted by Mandie & Malcolm (our chairman) at their home overlooking South Hill Park.
Malcolm took charge of the BBQ, cooking burgers & sausages. There was karaoke, a raffle and an auction.
In all, this fundraiser event raised £1000 for the Bracknell branch.
Another stunning success for the events team.
