Public Stand at Crowthorne Carnival Fete
As our preparations for the May 2027 local elections continue, we took the opportunity to meet more local residents by hosting a stand at this year's Crowthorne Carnival Fete.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, blessed with beautiful weather and more importantly, another valuable opportunity to listen to local people, hear their concerns and discuss the issues that matter most to our communities.
Labour and the Conservatives also had a presence, which was good to see, as a healthy democracy depends on people having genuine choice. However, events like this are particularly important for Reform UK as, unlike the long-established parties, we don't have decades of built-up networks, resources or political machinery behind us. We are building our movement from the ground up, through conversations with local residents and by earning support one person at a time.
The political landscape has changed dramatically and although Reform UK now enjoys unprecedented levels of public support, our representation has not always kept pace with that change, particularly in local government. In Bracknell Forest, where all councillors are elected together every four years, shifts in public opinion can take much longer to be reflected than in authorities that elect councillors by thirds.
Last but not least, as we continue to grow, protecting people's privacy remains important to us, so we maintain our own secure branch contacts database, people are always free to opt out and we believe political engagement should never come at the expense of personal privacy. For many people, their political views are deeply personal and we believe they should be treated with the same care and respect as any other sensitive personal information.

A full set of Bracknell Borough, Town and Parish council elections are due to take place in May 2027.
We have already started gearing up for the campaign and victory can be ours - but only if more members and supporters join the team of volunteers representing your ward. There are many ways to help. Click here to get involved.
We also need still more candidates to stand and serve as councillors.

Launch of Manifesto for Bracknell elections May 2027
At our public meeting on 20th June we presented and discussed our "embryo" Manifesto (click to view) for Reform led local government following the May 2027 elections.
This has been developed to address the needs and priorities of residents as we understand from contacts during the last 12 months and will continue to develop as our campaign now intensifies.

Reform 305 OWEN LAKE duly elected
LIB 254
CON 113
Green 105

We won our 2nd consecutive by-election in Bracknell when Owen Lake was elected to represent the Forest Park ward of Winkfield Parish Council.
This was a victory not only for Owen, but also for the voters who demonstrated they want real reform of how politics and local government is conducted. And compared with the 2025 by-election, it was pleasing to see how many more of our silent majority are now willing to ignore the establishment's narrative and signal support for Reform UK in public.
It was also a victory for our amazing volunteers who went out, with barely two weeks to deliver leaflets, and canvass door-to-door throughout the ward.
We do very much appreciate the volunteers' efforts, but here's a little secret - actually it's not a chore! It is enjoyable and satisfying to work in a highly determined and motivated team, delivering leaflets or talking to people on doorsteps; knowing every little bit of effort benefits the community.
A special thanks to the new local volunteers who joined our campaign team in this by-election.

“Vote Reform, Get Starmer Out”
Local Government Elections
In 136 councils, UK wide, Reform UK collected 3.8 million votes - that is a million more than Labour and 1.2 million more than Conservatives Britain voted Reform.
Bracknell needs Reform.
But unfortunately we have to wait until May next year for our turn at the ballot box.
However, we are now stepping up our campaign to contest all local Government seats within the Bracknell Parliamentary constituency.
And the opportunity to contest a by-election in Winkfield Parish has already arisen. If you care about democracy and accountability get in touch and do all you can to help us. This is about us, the silent majority.

On this day the Reform UK Bracknell Chairman Malcolm Tullett and Deputy Chairman Justin Bellhouse paid their respects at the Remembrance Sunday service in Bracknell.

We will remember them.
Saturday 25th October 2025
Reform Party Day of Action

We set up our Gazebo in Bracknell town centre as part of the Reform Party's National day of Action.
We had a very positive response from the local shoppers and signed up 16 new members (the 4th highest in the region).

Harmans Water by election victory!

In June we were out campaigning to get our Deputy Chairman, Justin Bellhouse (aka 'Taz') elected as a town councillor for the Harmans Water ward.
Good old fashioned 'boots on the ground' canvassing & leafleting were employed. Our newly purchased gazebo made its 1st public appearance at Harmans Water Square during the campaign.
And it worked! on the 26th of June 2025, Justin was duly elected to Bracknell Town Council for Harmans Water Ward, becoming the very first ‘elected’ Reform UK councillor not only in Bracknell but across the entire county of Berkshire.
This was a landmark result that showcased Reform UK Bracknell in action. Thanks being to every single volunteer who helped make this happen, whether by knocking on doors, delivering leaflets, standing as tellers, donating, or simply helping to spread the word.
