Our Mission
Empowering Bracknell’s Future Through Local Elections

Local elections, whether general or by-elections, are essential to strengthening our community and ensuring responsive, representative governance. They provide residents with the opportunity to shape their neighbourhood’s direction, address urgent local issues, and ensure that their voices are reflected in decision-making processes. Each election, from regular cycles to by-elections, marks a new chapter in Bracknell’s evolving landscape, giving voters the chance to elect leaders who understand their concerns and have a clear vision for the future.

For Bracknell, where housing, public safety, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure are top priorities, each election allows us to align our leadership with our values. As Bracknell grows and faces new challenges, these elections are crucial in driving policies that balance development with community needs, foster safety, protect the environment, and support accessible, sustainable transport.

By staying informed, asking questions, and participating in these elections, residents contribute to the collective strength of Bracknell. This page serves as your guide to understanding the current by-election candidates, their priorities, and the values they stand to represent. Thank you for joining us in shaping Bracknell’s future.

Meet Justin Bellhouse: Ascot By-Election Candidate
We are pleased to confirm that Justin Bellhouse will be standing as the Reform UK candidate in the upcoming Ascot Priory by-election, in the Parish of Winkfield, on Thursday 1st May.

Justin is a passionate local resident who believes in strengthening our community and supporting the good work already being done by Winkfield Parish Council. He’s standing to bring energy, transparency and a fresh perspective, to help make a good council even better.

He strongly believes in and aligns with, the core values of Reform UK Bracknell, being selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership. These principles will guide everything he does and ensure decisions are made with the community at heart.

Justin also recognises just how important parish councils are in protecting what matters most locally, from maintaining parks and green spaces, to ensuring community facilities in areas like North Ascot, Woodside and Chavey Down remain welcoming, safe and well-used. It’s about keeping Ascot a place where residents and business owners alike are proud to live and work.

He will act independently in the best interests of residents, while remaining committed to Reform UK’s clear values and purpose and looks forward to working collaboratively with the current councillors, many of whom identify as independent, though residents are increasingly aware that not all “independent” candidates are quite as unaffiliated as they appear.
